A Reorganization at Boeing: Boeing Co. announced a reorganization in which Boeing Aerospace and Boeing Electronics will become one division. Corporate senior Vice President Dan Pinick becomes president of the new organization, called Boeing Aerospace and Electronics. The reorganization takes effect today. The reorganization, an effort to “streamline costs of operations,” will involve a variety of military programs, including the AWACS system, several Boeing-built missiles, NASA space-station efforts and work on the Strategic Defense Initiative, known as “Star Wars.”
