Legal System

Share

We have allowed our legal system to go mad, and someone must come to its rescue.

It is outrageous that the McMartin Pre-school trial is going into its 3rd year and the 14th million of our dollars--and it is only one example of current and recent endless hearings and trials.

Of course, there must be thorough and just representation, but if properly prepared and efficiently administered, couldn’t the case for guilt or innocence of any individual on any charge be presented in a month’s time (20 full working days) for each side?

Who is in charge of all this, and how have they lost control of opportunistic paid-by-the-hour lawyers and the judges who allow this excess? In this reader’s view, it’s time to put a stop to it.
