Representatives of anabolic steroid manufacturers are to tell what they know about sales to Ben Johnson’s doctor when they appear before a Canadian federal drug inquiry today in Toronto.
The companies will likely include Winthrop Laboratories, which makes the steroid, Winstrol. Winstrol is a trade name for stanozolol, the chemical indicated in Johnson’s urine test when he was stripped of his gold medal in Seoul.
