Gay Parents Figure in the Picture Too

Congratulations. Beth Ann Krier’s recognition and inclusion of a gay father in her article, “A New Kind of Bachelor Father” (April 21) is an excellent reflection of The Times’ accuracy in covering current social issues. The fact is lesbians and gay men are choosing to become parents in increasing numbers. This type of inclusionary article can educate the public about cultural diversity and decrease homophobia.
