Huntington Beach : Robber Takes Cash From Yogurt Store

Police were searching Sunday for a man who held up the Great American Yogurt store at 19073 Beach Blvd. and escaped with $150 to $175.

Officers said the man entered the store at 10:45 p.m. Saturday and approached an employee, indicating to him that he was armed. The man demanded money, and the employee gave him some cash from the register. The man reached over and scooped out the remaining money before fleeing, officers said.

The suspect was described as about 30 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, about 140 pounds and having sandy, graying hair. No one was injured in the incident, police said.
