Fullerton : Brea Man’s Body Found at Fullerton Golf Course
The body of a 31-year-old Brea man was found Monday morning at the Fullerton Golf Course next to a curb near the Harbor Boulevard entrance to the facility, police said.
Sgts. Michael Maynard and John Patropulos, two off-duty Fullerton police officers, found the fully clothed body of Walter Lothorp opposite the 16th tee, about a quarter-mile from the golf course’s entrance, at 8 a.m. today, Fullerton Police Officer Cecil Reece said.
According to preliminary autopsy reports, Lothorp died of an apparent drug overdose, Reece said.
Toxicological tests are pending, he said.
