Gumbel's 'Late Night' Visit Ends Feud With Letterman

NBC stars Bryant Gumbel and David Letterman apparently have patched up their feud, which dates back to August, 1985. Gumbel, the "Today" show anchor, appeared on Letterman's late-night talk show Thursday and joked that he hadn't been on in a long time because "I get lost." The two had been at odds since Letterman interrupted a live, prime-time "Today" broadcast, which Gumbel considered unprofessional.
