Yugoslav basketball stars Vlade Divac and Zarko Paspalj, who helped Partizan Belgrade win the Korac Cup this season and who also earned Olympic silver medals at Seoul, said they had signed a contract with a managerial agency that deals with the National Basketball Assn.

“We have yet to decide which professional team we would join, but we have definitely decided to go,” Divac said.

Both are members of the Yugoslav national team taking part in the European championship finals at Zagreb next month.

An NBA spokesman confirmed that the two would be the first Yugoslavs to play for NBA teams.
