Typhoon Hits Hong Kong; 3 Killed, 20 Hurt

HONG KONG — Three people were killed, one was missing and 20 were injured Saturday as gale force winds and torrential rain triggered by Typhoon Brenda lashed the British colony of Hong Kong.
Three people were killed in the New Territories when a taxi slammed into a parked truck. Police said most of the injuries reported were a result of flying shards of glass or people being blown over by winds gusting up to 87 m.p.h.
