It was a crisis that captured the concern of the country.

“Everybody’s Baby: The Rescue of Jessica McClure” follows the 1987 story of the 18-month-old child who was trapped in an abandoned well in Midland, Texas. The two-hour ABC TV movie airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42.

Roxana Zal, at the center of the chaotic scene on the cover, plays Jessica’s mother, with Will Oldham as her father and Patty Duke as the Victims’ Assistance Volunteer who comforted them during the 58-hour ordeal.

Also in the cast are Beau Bridges and Pat Hingle as the men who headed the rescue effort.
