Curbing Our Lottery Fever

Workers, saving for homes, have realized that the lottery offers odds no worse than those given them by the business/political elite controlling our economy. By whatever economic indicators one wishes to use, it is painfully clear that those odds grow longer every year for not only home ownership but even minimal financial security.
Before we put a cap on lotteries let’s rein in the sleazy high rollers in Washington and on Wall Street who are responsible for this mess.
