Rohr Industries Inc. in Chula Vista announced a number of changes at the vice president level. James Goings, general manager of McDonnell Douglas Corp.’s Torrance operations, will join Rohr on June 5 as vice president-manufacturing. He will fill the opening created when John R. Johnson was named to the new position of vice president-planning. Nicholas A. Bucur was named vice president-customer support, replacing Peter Colston, who died recently. Keith Gentry replaced Bucur as vice president-commercial business, and David R. Watson succeeded Gentry as vice president and general manager of Rohr Riverside. David L. Canedo, previously vice president-financial management, became vice president-quality assurance. Dividing Canedo’s former responsibilities while retaining their prior duties are Alvin L. Majors, who was promoted to vice president and controller, and Ronald M. Miller, who was promoted to vice president and treasurer.
