COMMERCIAL SCENE : Baxter Healthcare Corp. Leases Industrial Building

Baxter Healthcare Corp. has signed a five-year lease, worth about $2.7 million, for a 100,000-square-foot industrial building in the Los Nietos Business Center, near the intersection of the Norwalk Boulevard and Telegraph Road in Santa Fe Springs.

The maker of health-care products will use the facility at 9154 Norwalk Blvd. for warehouse and distribution purposes. The developer of Los Nietos, Trammell Crow Co., said it has also leased 7,500 square feet of industrial space in another building at the site to Asbestos Control Technology in a three-year pact worth $150,000.
