Spectacular but Pricey

When we returned to Cabo San Lucas after a two-year absence, we were shocked at the price of food. Visitors can expect to pay about $17 for a fish entree, a la carte. A sundae at an ice cream stand costs about $2.25. Even though the scenery is spectacular, tourists may soon desert Cabo for other Mexican towns where the hotel and restaurant owners are not bent on “killing the goose that laid the golden egg.”
