Charles Arlington; Former L.A. Radio and TV Reporter
Charles Arlington, 74, Los Angeles radio and television reporter for more than 40 years. Arlington, who headed a team of radio reporters for the Armed Forces Radio Service during World War II and went on to work for NBC radio in Philadelphia and CBS news in New York, had most recently been working at radio stations KMPC and KLAC in Los Angeles. He also had been seen on Channel 9 as part of that station’s news team. In Glendale on Tuesday of complications after bypass surgery.
