Brajdas Corp. Reports 78% Loss in 4th Quarter

Brajdas Corp., a distributor of electrical components in Woodland Hills, said its earnings in the fourth quarter that ended Feb. 28 fell 78% to $80,899 from $375,539 a year earlier. Sales rose 11% to $14.5 million.

The company said it was hurt by lower profit margins. For the year, net income increased 9% to $2.0 million. Sales climbed 32% to $62.9 million.
