Pepperdine Reports $135 Million in Gifts
Pepperdine University in Malibu has announced that it has received $135 million in gifts and pledges as part of its “Wave of Excellence” campaign.
The final total, which far exceeded the campaign’s stated goal of $100 million to fund new construction and academic programs on campus, was announced at the Pepperdine Associates Dinner at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last week.
The campaign began in May, 1984. University officials said the campaign reached its goal 18 months ahead of schedule.
