Duarte : 3 Recycling Winners Picked
Three winners have been named in the first drawing of the Resource Revolution Riches program sponsored by the city in an effort to promote recycling in the community.
Up to five Duarte families may be awarded prizes weekly after drawings of randomly selected addresses where the families participate in the city’s free recycling program.
The families of Charles Belling, Karen Olson and Beth van Leuven won six months of free refuse service. They are now eligible for a $260 quarterly cash drawing and a seven-day Hawaiian vacation drawing next May.
