Dataproducts, Suitor Reach Pact: Dataproducts Corp. in Woodland Hills and an investor group that has threatened a takeover of the computer-printer maker reached an agreement in which the group, DPC Acquisition Partners, which owns about 8% of Dataproducts, will get the same confidential information about the company that Dataproducts provides to other potential buyers. DPC Acquisition, meanwhile, agreed not to launch a tender offer except under certain conditions during the undisclosed period of the agreement, and to drop its plan to seek shareholder consent to oust Dataproducts’ directors.
