Turbo-Prop Slides on Belly as Landing Gear Collapses

CHICAGO —
An Iowa Air turbo-prop plane slid about 300 yards on its belly when the landing gear collapsed, officials said. The plane had just left Midway Airport on Wednesday when the pilot noticed a problem with the landing gear and returned. No injuries were reported.
