Office Building Planned in West Los Angeles

A joint venture of A&R; Development Co. and Jay Lucas will develop a $16-million, 40,000-square-foot office building on Sepulveda Boulevard just north of Olympic Boulevard in West Los Angeles.

Construction of the five-story structure, designed by G.M.P. Architects Inc., is expected to begin in January, when the present building is vacated, according to leasing agent John Marshall of Beitler Commercial Realty Services. The contractor will be Keller Construction Co., El Monte.

There will be two lobby entrances, on Sepulveda and at 2120 Pontius Ave. The building will have three stories of office space and two levels of parking. Both A&R; and Lucas will establish headquarters in the building, leaving about two-thirds of the space available for lease.
