Sony Expands Line: Sony Corp. said response has been so strong to the first Video Walkman TV/VCR introduced two months ago that it is adding another model to its line. The GV-9 is being introduced by Sony to expand the personal video market and consumers’ options for video entertainment. This new unit has a 4-inch color liquid crystal display screen, providing about an 80% increase in viewing area over the original model. It includes an 8-millimeter videocassette recorder, a programmable timer and many other features in a package measuring just 2 pounds 14 ounces. The suggested retail price is $1,500.
