Highlight
Wednesday’s flight through the midwest was smooth and uneventful, compared with the previous day’s trip over the Rockies to Denver in which lightning struck the chase plan and the wings iced. About 200 children greeted Tony’s entourage in Lincoln, Neb. Wednesday afternoon. Mayor Bill Harris gave the young aviator a key to the city and he was made an honorary Nebraskan.
