Kenneth B. Roath has been elected chairman of Health Care Property Investors Inc., a Los Angeles-based real estate investment trust specializing in health-care facilities. Roath succeeds Maris Andersons, chairman since the company’s inception in 1985, who has resigned. Roath continues as president and chief executive.
