Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Co. named Denny Schule as director of engineering programs for its research, technology and engineering operations. Lockheed Aeronautical, based in Burbank, is the aircraft division of Calabasas-based Lockheed Corp.

Schule previously was engineering program manager for Lockheed’s airborne early warning aircraft. He joined the company in 1981.
