Diane Long to Head World Trade Group
Diane E. Long, a graduate of St. Bonaventure High School in Ventura, has been named executive director of the World Trade Center Assn. Oxnard.
Long, who has been involved in international business since graduating from Stanford University in 1980, has spent the last 3 1/2 years in China, first as an English teacher and then as project manager for JMI International, Shanghai, where she was a representative for U.S. garment manufacturers. Before working in China, Long worked in the export trading industry in Ventura and San Francisco.
Long replaces Ed Robings, who recently was appointed executive director of the Ventura County Museum of History and Art.
The World Trade Center Assn. Oxnard services Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Kern counties, as well as the western San Fernando Valley.
