Man Mistaken for Suspect Slain
Paul Conrad does a grave disservice to the entire law enforcement community with his “Another mistake shooting” cartoon of June 2.
If an officer has the belief (whether based on accurate or erroneous information) that someone is a wanted suspect and holds him at gunpoint advising him to “Freeze!” why on earth would anyone make a sudden move?
And, Conrad, as far as the officer shooting after the suspect made a motion for his waistband--the officer who hesitates is dead.
