Setting Record Straight on Winning Car Engine

The so-called Chevrolet-engine car that has won recent Indy car races was powered by an Ilmor engine, designed and built in England by two former engineers with Cosworth.

Though Chevrolet spent millions of dollars to put its name on the valve covers, it is still an Ilmor and should always be called that or an Ilmor-Chevrolet.
