Rectifier Corp. to Form Two Independent Units

International Rectifier Corp. of El Segundo said it will restructure into two independent operating divisions, effective July 1 with the beginning of its fiscal year.
The company said it will separate its electronic products and power product divisions, which contribute about equally to total revenue.
The company said it also will consolidate manufacturing operations in Tijuana and will move about 100 jobs from El Segundo to Tijuana over the next two quarters. Over the next two years, the company said, it expects to vacate up to 50,000 square feet in four buildings in El Segundo.
