Chula Vista
U.S. Border Patrol agents seized 201 pounds of marijuana near the Mexican border Wednesday.
The street value of the drugs is about $257,000, the agency said.
Border Patrol agents said they saw three unidentified men going into Mexico after walking away from a car parked on the U. S. side of the border. Agents followed the car north until it was stopped on Interstate 15 near H Street in Chula Vista.
The marijuana was found in three suitcases in the trunk of the car, and the driver, a 17-year-old amnesty applicant from Mexico, was arrested, agents said.
