Kurds Kill 10 Soldiers

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey —
Ten Turkish soldiers were killed in a gunfight with separatist Kurdish guerrillas in rugged southeastern Turkey on Wednesday night, officials said Thursday.
The clash, one of the biggest this year between Turkish forces and the Marxist Kurdish Workers Party, was near the hill town of Sirnak, 25 miles from the Iraqi border.
