I was offended and disgusted by the May 14 cover. Is this your way of celebrating Mother’s Day? But I do agree with your concern over keeping Manson behind bars. It is unfortunate that our state doesn’t have the moral guts to have a legal system that protects its citizens from the release of criminals such as Manson. Parole may be a useful system for some types of criminals, but the Manson group transcends all civilized concepts.
