Five Convicted in Bank Theft: A federal jury convicted five men of stealing nearly $70 million through electronic transfers from First National Bank of Chicago to banks in Vienna. Armand Moore, Otis Wilson, Neal Jackson, Ronald Carson and Leonard Strickland were convicted in the May, 1986, wire transfer of $69,125,000 from three First National accounts to banks in Austria in what prosecutors said was a near-perfect crime.
