Court Ruling on Civil Rights
I find that the world is going to hell in a hand basket. Racism is one of mankind’s greatest scourges. It is outrageous that we even need laws to protect minorities that distinguish one human being from another. The decision by the Supreme Court that the 1866 Civil Rights Act does not cover racial harassment (“Justices Reaffirm 1866 Law on Bias but Reduce Scope,” Part I, June 16) reflects a frightening regression of our society.
