LOCAL : G. Dumke, Ex-CSU Chancellor, Dies

Glenn S. Dumke, chancellor of the California State University system during its two greatest decades of growth, has died of a heart attack at his Los Angeles home, it was learned today.
A spokeswoman said Dumke, who directed the system’s growth to 319,000 students when he retired in 1982, was 72.
