Radio station KXBR in rural southwestern Missouri was knocked off the air this week in a big way. Irate landlord Lois DeClue used a bulldozer to bury the station’s 200-foot transmitter, saying she took the extreme measure because the station was four months overdue on a $3,600 lease payment. “The action is a last resort to keep people off the property, including the people at KXBR,” said DeClue.
