Gardening Readings

I had to write to let you know how great I think your gardening column by Robert Smaus is.

Saturday’s View and Sunday’s Real Estate section are the first parts I read. As my husband is a realtor, there’s a race for Sunday’s Real Estate!

I couldn’t wait until Monday to phone for gardening catalogues mentioned in the July 2 article “Garden ‘Wish Books’: Gadgets, and More.” When I placed a call to the Natural Gardening Co. at 11 a.m. Sunday, they had already had numerous catalogue requests and asked was I calling based on the L.A. Times article.

Keep up the great job!

I still miss the “old” Home magazine on Sundays but Sunday’s Real Estate garden articles are helping to ease the loss and filling my notebooks with reference articles and ideas.
