Death Threat Served to the Wrong Waiter

TURIN, Italy —
The Mafia apparently has apologized to a 25-year-old Italian pizza waiter for mistakenly sending him a death threat.
Ten days ago, Giuseppe Bruno found a fistful of unfired bullets on the seat of his car--a traditional Mafia warning.
Puzzled and frightened, he moved out of his boarding house, quit his job and kept a low profile.
This week, Bruno found a letter in his car: “We got the car wrong.” Police believe the unsigned letter was from a local Mafia group.
