VH-1, the 24-hour video music/entertainment cable network aimed at the baby-boom generation (25-49), is launching a new promotional contest with a unique prize: a collection of 36 Corvettes, one from each year of production since 1953. The car collection, valued at more than $1 million, will go to the winner of the contest that will begin Aug. 12 and run through mid-October. The Beach Boys are the official band of the VH-1 Corvette Collection Sweepstakes and wrote “Still Cruising” for the promotion.
