Wavetek, a manufacturer of electronic test equipment, reported a profit of $234,000 on sales of $21 million for the third quarter ended July 1, contrasted with a loss of $7 million on sales of $20.1 million for the same three months last year.

For the nine months to date, Wavetek’s profit stands at $686,000 on sales of $64.1 million, up from a loss of $5.3 million on sales of $63.9 million for the same three quarters last year.
