California Commercial Bankshares, the holding company for National Bank of Southern California, said its profit for the second quarter increased 41% to $518,740 from $368,491 for the like period last year. For the six-month period, net earnings were up 42% to $1 million from the $723,332 reported for the first half of 1988. National Bank has offices in Santa Ana and El Toro.
