Furor Over Wong’s Visit to Beijing

Without saying so, The Times has accurately depicted Cerritos City Councilman Daniel Wong as a pompous, self-serving buffoon (Metro, July 7-8). Inflated with self-importance, he struts about the stage like a popinjay, fancying himself the confidant of kings and privy to the highest secrets of state. The man’s ego is exceeded only by his complete absurdity.
He calls himself the “Chinese Kissinger”? Not in our Chinese community. Here we know him as the Clown Prince of Cerritos.
