Police raided a summer camp in northern Israel for Israeli Arab children, charging it has been used by radical Arabs to promote the Palestinian uprising, a police commander said Friday.

Police Thursday arrested the camp director and two counselors from the Israeli Arab village of Shfaram on suspicion of subversive political activities, said Shmuel Mermelstein, commander of Shfaram village police.

The woman and two men arrested are members of the radical Palestinian Sons of the Village movement, he said.
