Bausch & Lomb: The Rochester, N.Y., maker of health- and eye-care products said second-quarter net income rose 16% from a year ago to $27.4 million as brisk worldwide demand for health-care and optical products pushed its revenue up 28% to a quarterly record of $318.1 million.
