Deputy Chief Named: Ken MacLeod has been named deputy chief of the Orange County Fire Department. A 24-year veteran of the department, MacLeod has served the last 19 months as assistant director of operations. He spent the preceding eight years as assistant director of the administration and support bureaus. MacLeod assumed his new position July 14.
