NATION : Bush Schedules Three-City Tour
President Bush will travel to Chicago, Oklahoma City and Las Vegas on Monday and Tuesday to speak in different forums before the nation’s governors, law enforcement officers and disabled veterans, the White House said today.
Press Secretary Marlin Fitzwater announced that Bush will address the National Governors’ Conference on Monday morning. He will then travel to Las Vegas where he will address the Disabled Veterans and continue to Oklahoma City where he will speak to the Fraternal Order of Police convention. He plans to remain overnight in Oklahoma City, returning to Washington on Tuesday.
