Carl Karcher Enterprises has signed an agreement with Cal State Fullerton to put a Carl’s Jr. on campus.
The restaurant, which should be built by January, is the first Carl’s Jr. within the 20-campus California State University system. The franchisee is the CSUF Foundation, a university auxiliary organization.
The Cal State Fullerton Carl’s Jr. is the company’s fourth restaurant on a college campus. The other three campuses are the University of Southern California, Santa Monica City College and UC Irvine.
Karcher Enterprises operates 494 Carl’s Jr. restaurants in California, Oregon, Arizona and Nevada.
