Fullerton : Fullerton Teacher Joins Education Task Force
Ginger Britt, a teacher at Laguna Road Elementary School in Fullerton, has been selected to serve on the 35-member Elementary Grades Task Force just created by state schools Supt. Bill Honig.
The primary role of the task force will be to make specific recommendations for improving the educational program provided to California’s elementary-grade students, Honig said in a press release.
The elementary task force comes two years after another committee studied middle schools and produced a report titled “Caught in the Middle,” which led to a variety of reforms in middle schools throughout the nation, Honig said.
The elementary task force will meet five times in the next year and will conduct several public hearings.
