Ad Agency Drops Out of Review: About two months after American Suzuki Motor Corp. said it planned to review its advertising agency, its current Los Angeles firm, Keye/Donna/Pearlstein, said it was dropping out of the running. “We didn’t think there was a reason for the review, so we’re not going to participate in it,” said Leonard Pearlstein, president and chief executive of the agency. That leaves the Los Angeles office of the Japanese firm Hakuhodo Inc. as one of the front-runners in the competition for the $30-million business. Hakuhodo already creates ads for Suzuki’s marine division.
