‘Commotion Along With the Devotion’
The Rev. Singleton, pastor of the Loveland Church in Fontana, may prefer “commotion along with his devotion,” but I and many other black Americans who consider ourselves to be religious don’t!
As Americans, we have the human right to our individual religious music preferences. We also have the right to be free of certain people who believe that all of us should be restricted to a big blob of conformity.
